hi guys! i've been working on the login page for the website and i have gotten far enough that i'm currently making a navigation bar so far it looks like this [just a small sneak-peak 4 y'all.. its bigger than this. n i accidently hovered over the login button oops] [ including when you press login/sign up] [ also the buttons are gonna be changed 2 white dw]   [ gifs by thecellabration ] however, i've gotten far enough to ask the question – what should be on the login page? what would attract users? if u have any ideas that would be great, and also maybe someone that would like to volunteer in writing all the paragraphs!! so things move as quickly as possible ofc this is not the final product, but it's a bit on the way :-) thankful for any help .... ! |

well i think what will attract users is artwork based on avatars, or just the avatars in general, that sounds like a pretty solid plan, but i think for now (idk how coding works so it might not be this simple) it would be best to just keep the basics and wait until we have more put together before worrying about attracting users.

i would mainly focus on that introduction we were talking about like top right corner the login thingy and in the middle avatar creation or smth seems im outta the loop cuz i don't know what you are really talking about there ?:-( care to explain?? - Afterlife 1 - In a sense, the site is coming out of the death of another, sort of, so it fits. Something like the animated movie "Book of Life" or Tim Burton style for the layout would be amazing! You could create a really cool feel that's totally unique! 2 - If new members are led through a tutorial like, "welcome! You've just died! But the afterlife is super cool! Let me show you around." I personally think a theme like that has potential. 3 - It could focus more on heaven, and a journey . Cause like.. heaven is usually described as a place where you can be happy and live out your dreams (which you can do with creativity and making outfits and making friends and stuff on the website). More heaven as a concept, like... kindof in the same way as someone would call their favourite store "heaven" or a perfect day. Not an actual religious place you have to "earn" or anything. It would probably be best to go for Greek/roman ish mythology as it's a bit more neutral than present day religions. 4 - Spirits: What kind of spirit/angel do you want to be? The Street-angel? Cute-angel? So we get different clothing styles too. We cant make it too fantasy-ish tho imo. 5 - It could be really fun to pick which land they live in, even if it was just like a tag on their profile or whatever. Could even be like, a demon land, angel land, etc. (maybe not actually calling them "angel" and "demon") 6 - Guardians - to keep away from the religious connotations of angels and demons? |
