I like this, but I'd move makeup up into the "head" category and maybe merge accessoires and hands I dont really think they need to be a seperate category and foreground stuff I'd put either in with background or misc instead of a new category too many categories are really frustating imo :--// I feel the opposite. Not enough categories is frustrating. When there isn't a proper category for something, so designers put it in other or background, or wherever and you have to hunt to find it. Or you aren't sure where your face tattoo is. Face? Makeup? Other? I'd much rather have too many categories and always be able to find something, than not enough categories and have to dig through everything to find certain items. I agree on that.

About layering clothing, maybe do so we could choose how long far in front one item is, but not necessarily taking any other item from the category with? As far as I remember it was possible on gsm?

OuO I'm not a fan of animated items, personally. They slow down the site. And make it hard or impossible to access to site by phone.

But as long as I can turn it off I'm cool with it.

(idk if any of these were already mentioned, currently in sensory overload so i cant read too much text) - A dress category for males, please
- Merge skirts and pants into one category for bottoms
- A bit silly, but maybe have an underwear category?

is it possible to have a "favorite items" function? that you can "☆" or "♡" items, and those items would appear first in your wardrobe?

I was under the impression (from a few other threads) that male and female would not be divided. I thought we weren't gendering clothes items or making a distinction in shops or inventories. But I might be wrong.

I honestly think that pants and skirts should be in a "bottoms" category together. Because a lot of "skirts" look almost like pants and the other way around. Leggings and socks shouldnt be in the bottoms category though. They should have a separate "socks" category.

Oh and I agree, the more categories the better. Jewelry and normal accessories should definitely be separate! I think the categories that vp has are pretty good BUT I think clicking in tops menu to find the short dresses is kind of annoying... I actually do agree the hand categories should be one instead of two but... "other accessories" should stay seperate. I feel that a distinction between accessories in the hands/arms and in other areas is necessary
I would also like a seperate category for weapons, but this might be a little excessive
