Indeed, but I think it's the best if the base is the same for everyone (in this case the bald one in Rat's examples), and then the outfits, skins and hair can be used to represent a gender. This way boys could use girls hair and vice versa, and those who feel like they're somewhere in between, have the opportunity to express themselves however they want. That would also lead to the ability of changing the gender whenever you want, so you wouldn't need to actually change the base if the clothes suit the one and the same base. |

If there would be categories for guys and gals hair (for example), then there should be two different gender bases as well. I think the base, however, would work for both male and female, because the shoulders could be widened and therefore the hips narrowed by designing the clothes to look like the bodystructure is different. That's why a "slimmer" base might be the easiest, so that you can just kinda layer over it. But yes, good points! There must be a lot of discussion about this during the making of the site, nothing is permanent yet (: |
