I don't think only marked designers should be able to make unusual skin tones. That doesn't really seem fair to put limitations on people who are donating their time making things for the site. That doesn't really seem fair to put limitations on people who are donating their time making things for the site. posting my opinion, hope no one minds. if i made a skin that didn't fit the other items in the game, wouldn't that be mostly my problem? bc it means my skin might be less used? i honestly think each designer (badged or not) should be able to choose how they wanna make their stuff. we could for example decide that the main rule is to use the decided-upon skin tones, but you're allowed to make others if you want to? simply put: i think everyone should normally use the main skin tones, but that they should be allowed to do otherwise at their own "risk" (people might not use the skin when other things don't match) |

Everyone should be able to contribute but the "main skins" should be the priority, otherwise the system doesn't make much sense. |

That doesn't really seem fair to put limitations on people who are donating their time making things for the site. it was just an idea it seems difficult to let just anyone do skintones to the site as if there's gonna be different poses and facial expressions. we would basically need to have the designer, who wants the specific skintone in the game to do every single body part with the skin. |

When I actually make skins theyre either gray or some other weird color. |

i was just thinking??? as the hand in this base covers a part of the thigh you'll have to design around it, but if people want to make custom arms and stuff there'll be like.... a hole where the hand was if you move it if u get what i'm saying lmao??   like, idk...... If that's the base we do end up using, arms just need to be a separate layer. Then they can be mix&matched. We just need an official base, and official cut point where the arm starts. |

The second one seems pretty chosen. The design thread is all over it. XD rat: can there be a version where the arms and legs are separated? The should be separate layers so people can customize them. |

What I think the agreement is, is that there will be the avatar released in a set of standard colors, and the site will give designers the palette so they can do matching things. But designers are also free to do their own skins as well. (But at the risk of being less popular because extra arms and things might not match) So it's a combination of options. |
