like just having bodies and heads separate? that's a great idea!! then we have the problem where skin colors don't match.. oh well then we could have another section for random limbs ...idk No like having a shop with different eyes and noses and lips and you buy and equip the ones you want. The noses would have to be updated to come in all colors of skin available though. Ohh I underatand what u mean, and it sounds gr8 |

So basically, every skin woudl have (almsot) blank face and then we just can add pair of eyes, mouth etc to face from wardrobe`?

I think I'd prefer if making skins just stayed the same as on vp, so like, just making a whole new skin every time
But that's also just bc I love making skins and new faces and stuff too much
Or maybe I just don't understand it rn haha

Well if we set the base skin in a certain amount of colours(for example 5, 2 pale ones, 2 dark ones and 1 middle) it wouldn't be too difficult to make them in the colours |

As a sort of jr designer (not on the dt) I find straight on bases easier to design for. However, they are more limited. You can't do backpacks, or see what hair is doing. Ponytails can look odd. A slightly angled base would allow for more options.

Well if we set the base skin in a certain amount of colours(for example 5, 2 pale ones, 2 dark ones and 1 middle) it wouldn't be too difficult to make them in the colours I very much enjoy the aspect of most avatar sites where ever item (including skins) come on every color. However, having a unique system for items, like vp did, can be a draw to users. It's alright to be different. The site could have a standard set of colors if we wanted. Photoshop can add a color map to anything, so anyone with photoshop can make everything in all the standard colors. |

I agree! I think we'll have different skins, but the skins should be very different from each other (it's okay if they look the same if they are in different skin tones)
