Should designers be allowed to make custom skin tones, or should we stick to a few 'base skin tones'?

I'm voting "yes", because i like having lots of options, even if it means that i might end up with frankenstein's monster if we use posed arms

Of course there's much fun and I like the different options with making new skins, but I also feel like it can become such a big mess in the end with all? And then things like makeup and such won't fit well with the structure of other skin faces and such, if you know what I mean cx

i like having options when it comes 2 skins on vp, thats why im voting yes !
and to comment on what @ida said, i think there could be guidelines set up so that the eyes have the same placement and stuff perhaps – but i have found it that smtimes makeup that doesn't exaaactly fit the face, could make it more unique n i love playing around like that !!

I dont like the idea
I think different face overlays are ok but the rest shouldnt be changed
The base is pretty and itd look a lot more professional if we all had the same type of skin

I'd love to keep a variety of skins on the new site, however I think especially when it comes to skins it should meet a certain criteria in order to be allowed to be uploaded on the site. A lot of the skins on VP were unnecessary if you'd ask me, not to indirectly bash designers but most skins were barely used and I'm trying to put this light but they had quite some imperfections which in my opinion brings down the quality of a site. (In all honesty this goes for all clothing but skins should kinda be stricter imo). I'd just appreciate it if we kept the variety of skins down.
Also on a side note, I'd love it if the "same" skins were shown together with the possible color variety just like on gSm. VP is a pain in the butt when it comes to that.

I agree with @ceylin and how skins should be stricter and kept to a low amount. However there should be a possibility to design some unique skins, but at the same time they should fit some conditions if they are gonna be uploaded to the site -to keep the quality of the site high.
