happy new years everyone! in 2018, more updates about afterlyfe online will surely come and this is the first one of the year. like with the home page, we have decided to show you screenshots of how some of the pages look like to get your opinion on what you think, what could improve and what is already good. today, we are looking at the profile.
to describe it a little, on the profile each user will have a banner (i've included an example of how this could look like) that you can either make yourself or choose one from a selection we are gonna make with our new artists (check THIS thread out in you are interested in applying). your avatar will also be displayed and as you can see below it, there are some things you can fill like pronouns, location and status. there's also an about box that will support bbcode that you can work with we also decided to display your "soulmates", our version of bffs on your profile so u can proudly show them off!!any opinions are welcome and if you feel like anything could be better, we will try to provide an example if it seems reasonable. here are the screenshots:

Looks fantastic ! But possibly increase the size of the avatar? I don’t think the soulmates’ avatars should appear bigger than the actual users avatar the avatar's size is not altered, it probably just appears smaller because of the space around it but i'll bring it up i'd say it's not going to get any bigger because it's the same size as all the avatars on the site are going to be, and i'm guessing coding it bigger is not gonna look any better  but ill bring up u think it looks smaller, the users avatar |

Will the about section be able to support like html coding? Or I guess what I'm asking is will it just be writing or will you be able to customize it more? Looks great so far  |

Looks great so far we have currently decided against html because it can bring some issues, if u want a clearer explanation i can bring it up again i just remember that we talked about the fact vp had it a long time ago and removed it for some reason. however, we do support bbcode and if anytime in the future we have a safe way to allow html support – it's easier to go from bbcode to html rather than the reverse. so you can customize it – just not as freely like with html. but you can put in pictures and things like that, i'm not fully... knowledgable on how bbcode fully works but you can definitely create but it will support bbcode so u can customize it – just not as freely like with html |

It looks SO GOOD. What I really like is the status (more like gsm and less like having to shout in vp) and a customizable banner. Also the little icons under the avatar are very smart. I also think that the avatar could be slightly bigger, but I don't know if it is possible with the current avatar size we have? The layout overall seems really nice and smooth, easy to eye and probably easy to use!

am i really the only one who thinks the about box is too big Hmm no I agree with you. Just an idea; what if the soulmates and the about box switch places? So that the about box will be adapted to the amount of information you put in it, because I think if someone doesn't want to share that much info your profile looks a bit boring because of the nearly empty and just white box. |

How about the achievements though?? GOOD POINT I didn't even realize! Imo it could be in the links with about, blog, photo album etc or a row of icons like Soulmates but under them. |
